Yes. The scripts and concepts for all vlogs are created by an adult over the age of 18. The visuals and audio are all 100% artificial intelligence.
Who is Atlas?
Atlas is a 13 year old boy. He lives in Lorain, Ohio. His best friend and boyfriend is Deacon, also 13 years old. They love traveling around the world and going on adventures. Their vlogs focus on joy, kindness and are appropriate for all ages.
Does Atlas make music?
No, unlike many other digikids, Atlas does not enjoy singing. He loves dancing though and is excited to share more of this talent in the future.
How do donations help?

What is the purpose of this?
The purpose of Atlas Artificial is to entertain and inspire people around the world. This project will likely never be profitable, and brings no fame to the human creator. There is no ulterior motive... it is creating for the sake of creation.

Research A 2016 study researched "the effects of a media portrayal of two gay 13 year old characters on young viewers’ attitudes toward LGBTQ people and issues by exploring the influence of gender identity and sexual orientation on viewers’ reactions" (Gillig & Murphy, p. 3828). The participants were given a compilation of a popular TV series to watch, that featured teen actors and an LGBTQ storyline. The compilation also included a brief kiss between the two teen boys. The results from nearly 500 participants between the ages 13-21 revealed that "for LGBTQ youth, the story evoked hope and fostered positive attitudes; however, it tended to produce a boomerang effect among heterosexual/cisgender youth, eliciting the emotion of disgust and leading to significantly more negative attitudes toward LGBTQ people and issues (Gillig & Murphy, 2016, p. 3828). This study used a live action mainstream television show that featured an LGBTQ storyline between two 13-year boys. The storyline on Atlas Artificial has similar themes, although it is not live action, does not deal with themes of trauma and does not feature scenes with kissing. It is likely the content will produce similar emotions as observed in the study; hope for LGBTQ youth and disgust from some heterosexual/cisgender youth.
